How do I make the perfect cup of coffee?

I plan on making 12 cups. I have dark roast coffee and I like it rather strong. Every time I make coffee it’s really weak and I can’t figure out why because I feel like I use to much coffee grounds. So how much coffee grounds should I use in ratio to water?

    just add extra scoop like 3 scoops to your 12 cups cofffee maker
